Bach Johann Sebastian - Jesu, Joy of man's desiring (Sylvia Wood
Arrangeur : Woods Sylvia
arranged for beginning and advanced harpists
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring is one of Johann Sebastian Bach's best-loved works. Sylvia Woods has created several arrangements of this beautiful piece in one book: harp solo, harp duet, harp and flute (or other melody instrument) including an optional vocal part. For each arrangement, she provides a "score" as well as separate parts. The harp arrangements are for intermediate to advanced harp players. In the key of 3 sharps, with lever changes. Fingerings are included. 32 pages, spiral-bound.
NOTE: Both of the duet parts include A-sharps. Therefore, if your lever harp is tuned to 3 flats, you will need to re-tune two of your A strings to A-natural before you begin either of the duet arrangements, so you can use your levers to make the required A-sharps. No re-tuning is necessary for the lever harp solo arrangement, as it does not include any A-sharps.
No re-tuning is necessary before you start if you normally tune your A strings to A-natural.
